Smilax is a green vine foliage that thrives across the southern states of the USA. Texas Smilax is particularly hardy and versatile, easily covering arches, columns, stairways, ceilings, and more. Despite being native, it is invasive to its environment, smothering trees and blocking light. Harvesting Smilax plays a crucial role in forest regeneration.

Environmental Considerations

We understand the importance of being conscious of the environmental impact of our actions. Importing foliage from the USA may not seem environmentally friendly at first glance. However, because Smilax grows wild, it requires no additional heat or water like commercially grown foliage, and no pesticides are used, EVER!

Transportation and Sustainability

Concerned about transportation? We only ship our Smilax from Texas to Heathrow using commercial airlines on flights already scheduled to cross the Atlantic. Our boxes occupy leftover space in the cargo hold, minimizing the carbon footprint. Smilax needs no water source or FLORAL FOAM!

Easy to Use

Once your Smilax delivery arrives, it requires no conditioning, no additional water, and very little of your time.
